Thomas D. Kohl, MD
Director of Sports Medicine Services
Dr. Kohl specializes in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He received his
Medical Degree from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine,
Hershey, PA. After several years of active service at Langley Air Force Base
in Hampton, VA, Dr. Kohl started his sports medicine practice, Comprehensive
Athletic Treatment Center. He serves as team physician to many local high
schools, Reading Area Community College and Reading Express Indoor Football
Team. He also teaches part-time in the family medicine residency program at
The Reading Hospital.
Our sports medicine physicians work to maximize function and minimize time away from sports, work, or life’s activities. They promote lifelong fitness and wellness, and encourage prevention of illness and injury. Their expertise is applied to the “weekend warrior” or the “industrial athlete” to quickly and safely return the individual to full function.
